Tracy and Family

Tracy Formea

Agent / Owner

Tracy Formea is a graduate of Glenwood High School and Illinois State University. In 2003, she founded Formea Insurance Group, Inc.. Since opening her business, she has been an active member of both the Chatham Area Chamber and the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Her involvement with the Chatham Area Chamber has included volunteering on all event planning committees, along with continually serving as an Executive member of the Board of Directors. Her volunteer work with the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce includes over 16 years as an Ambassador. Tracy is a member of the Chatham Jaycees, Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois, Local First, Pi Beta Phi, Women Entrepreneurs-Central Illinois and Chatham Christian Church, where she teaches Sunday School. She also enjoys volunteering at a number of community events, including Style of Hope, Light Up the Park, the Sweetcorn Festival, Oktoberfest, community clean-up days, the Lincoln Land Championship, and the Sangamon County Fair. Tracy and her husband Chad are the proud parents of Reagan and Cooper. The family enjoys supporting local youth athletic teams at SASA and Glenwood, and also cheering on the US Soccer team!

Kyle Welch and Family

Kyle Welch

Kyle has been with Formea Insurance Group, Inc. since 2014. Kyle grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Routt High School. He currently resides in Sherman, Illinois with his wife, Frankie. They are the proud parents of a baby girl (with another on the way!) and their dog Ivy. Kyle is very involved in the community with coaching, mentoring, and serving on various committees. Having played at SIU-E, baseball is one of Kyle’s true passions. He now spends his time passing his knowledge on to softball and baseball players as an instructor at Tribe Baseball and Softball Academy, where he also coaches a competitive baseball team. Kyle has been a “Big” with Big Brother Big Sister since 2012. He has been heavily involved with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for over 10 years as well, serving on the local committee for their fundraisers in the Springfield area. Outside of work and coaching, Kyle’s main focus is family. He comes from a close extended family and enjoys spending time with his four nieces and nephews.
